Artistic Inspirations Roslin

Raised and educated in Holland Carola always loved art, but discovered her passion for art through 8 years of employment as a woodworker in the family owned business. Stirling Fine furniture specialized in an estimated 700 Folk art items, and was the largest supplier of unfinished woodpieces in Canada.
After taking part in many Folk art exhibits over the years, assisting with management, exporting and other facets of the Stirling Fine Furniture business, Carola continually attends international conventions and develops and researches new products and styles by self teaching.
In 1989 Carola started her own business ?Artistic Inspirations? with her studio located at her residence south of Roslin, Ontario. Carola began teaching for Loyalist Collage in 1989, and shares her talents and skills with delighted night school students each semester through Continuing Education?s Life and Leisure programs.
In 1997 she began designing and marketing her own line of successful folk art pattern packages. She has been exhibiting her unfinished woodworking, painted items and pattern packets at the Kaswood Folk art convention in Toronto. She also had classes at conventions in Toronto and Niagara Falls.
Today Carola has over 70 different pattern packets, and is continuing to develop more designs. She has the ability to take her ideas and transform them to wood, using her woodworking skills.
Along with being the featured artist 3 times in the North American published Paintworks magazine, she has been on TV and has had her story printed in the local newspapers.
She continues to design and also loves seeing the talents in her 2 daughters Cassandra and Crystal.
